The night sky is a constant source of wonders. The moon and the planets are our nearest neighbors and at various times of the year you can easily see Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and Venus if you know where to look.
Join The Riverwood Conservancy along with Randy Atwood from the Royal Astronomical Society as we explore the jewels of the sky.
Astronomy Series Presented by RASC (Mississauga)
Randy Attwood of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (Mississauga Centre) invite you to explore the beauty of the night sky. Bring your own telescope or binoculars and enjoy a spring evening star gazing at Riverwood. Star maps will be distributed. Telescopes will be set up for observing the moon, planets and stars on the lawn in front of Chappell House.
Please note: The event will be held on the first date shown - the second date is a back-up date in case skies are not suitable for star-gazing on the scheduled date.
